I was born, raised and educated in Colorado and come from a family of ten. In addition to learning that we’re all on this adventure of life together as brothers and sisters, I was taught by my parents of the importance of being of service to others, working hard and to always be a man of high integrity. Throughout my career I’ve had the honor of assisting others in enjoying an abundant life and I have a passion for working with the youth and elders of our society, and volunteer through my church. Once a month we visit elders in area nursing homes and share music, companionship and love. I teach financial literacy at local high schools, mentor high school students, am an Ambassador for the West Chamber of Commerce, and on the board of directors of the Applewood Business Association. I have a deep respect for Planet Earth and all who inhabit it.
I first became involved in financial services in the late eighties as an insurance professional. I am now owner of Abundant Prosperity Associates, LLC (APA) and have earned the CFEd® designation as a Certified Financial Educator. In spite of being one of the most prosperous nations in the world we’re experiencing an epidemic of financial illiteracy and debt. APA is dedicated to empowering families, organizations and their members through financial education. We also provide safe, effective strategies to help our clients achieve financial freedom and financial peace of mind.
I have been a financial professional in Colorado since 1988. The designation of Certified Financial Educator® is a registered designation awarded to individual financial professionals who have several years of success in the financial industry and are knowledgeable in the field of financial services. They are also experienced in the area of teaching and instructing adult learners. The Certified Financial Educator® must pass an extensive exam before receiving their certification. The Certified Financial Educator® designation is recognized by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
